I thought it was only in the south. We have such a large number of the population that lose their license due to drunk driving that they'll do anything not to have to walk!

I used to.
And I have ridden a lawn mower to someone's house. Out there, there are two resturants and a gas station.

I live in a very small town and people here use those John deere Gators, riding mowers, golf carts, etc. We have little traffic and it appears safe enough. With the cost of gas, can't blame 'em really.

YES! I live in Lolo, Montana. My next door neighbor rides her riding lawnmower to the gas station for tallboys every day.

I live in a rural area; the only thing I see occasionally is farm equipment on the roads.
