Closed.( I watch to many Stephen King movies.) That way if there are monster's i'll hear them when they come out. When I was a kid I slept with the covers over my head thinking the monster's couldn't see me. And wouldn't dare hang my feet off the edge of the bed!! They might be under there.

If the monster was attractive, I would keep the door open and sleep in something hot. If the monster was very unattractive or male, then I would keep it closed.

A scientific research found, this year, the only thing in the world who can stop a monster it's a closet.
Forget the laser, the border fence, a song played for a American Idol contestant... The only effective thing it's that door.
So, I always closed it.

When I was a kid I was never afraid of the boogey man coming out of my closet. I was afraid of alligators either in my closet or under my bed. So I always shut my closet door. And if I had to get up in the middle of the night, I would stand on my bed and jump as far away from it as possible, so if there were any alligators under my bed, they wouldn't snap my feet. Just to let you know, I grew up in South Louisiana, so it's not so weird to me.

ive never thought there were monsters in my closet it never bothered me. but i saw this movie with this purple like gum monster that killed these people when i was younger. my brother made me watch it mom said no but i did anyway. it only comes in the dark. so i have been afraid to walk around in my house in the dark since then. and i have to sleep with my bedroom door open and i taught myself to sleep facing that direction so the monster would have to pass me first. he cant attack me from behind. lol, its dumb, my fear has faded a bit, almost completely. but still i have to sleep with my door open. when i have my ac and i gotta sleep with it closed it gets me really upset.
