3 days ago i bought 6 tilapia fish ,then i placed them in the aquarium tank,they do not want to eat, i gave them fish food but they still doesnt want to eat,so after 3 days 1 among them die,i worry about the remaining 5 more because they also doesnt want to eat, in the aquarium ,i have setup a place to hide and they seem to fight each other for teritory,and finaly another die,so i setup more place to hide ,which each fish have their own teritory ,but they still not eating , the water is fine, and i see them like so thin & skiny ,,,,i worry they all gonna die. HELP?

Adult tilapia are general algae grasers and filter feeders. Try adding some vegetables to the diet. Very young tilapia ( under about 3" are meat eaters and need to be offered some live or frozen foods like bloodworms or blackworms. Small earthworms are also good.

Magicman is totally right. But, if you go to feed them earthworms, do not, I repeat, DO NOT, get them from the ground outside, these contain man ychemicals that could end up killing all of your fish in the end.

i really have no idea about tilapia...but it sounds like they may be in too close of quarters..maybe you should go get another aquarium and split them up so they will stop fighting and will start eating, they may feel too stressed to eat.

I hope you searched for help in the book specific to your fish you bought when you decided to buy fish. You...did buy a book to help you....right?
