I plan on selling my house myself, and don't want to pay selling agent fees, but would like to get the exposure MLS offers, how can I list my home online?

For those Realtors that want to tell me I need an agent to get the best price - I understand the home buying and selling process this will be my second house I've sold, and in the process of buying a third, I've been burned by agents before, and won't deal with them again unless they bring someone to my house that will buy it for my price.

I have pets that need to be taken away during showing times, so I won't be using a lockbox, and will need to be there during showings. So there is no reason for using a selling agent.

In order to list your home in any MLS, you must work through an agent or firm which is a member of the MLS in which you wish to list the property.

Do not expect miraculous savings by 'not wanting to pay selling fees'. When you list in a MLS, the listing firm is required to state what compensation is offered to other agents who may have a buyer for the property. Of course, if you enter 'zero', one or both of two things will occur. The agent will look right past your house and not offer it to a buyer, or the agent will take a buyer's agency agreement with the buyer, and your offered price will (GASP) be lowered by the amount of the buyer agent's fees, at a minimum.

Please bear in mind that MLS associations are not cheap, and they are developed by real estate agents for THEIR business, and not for saving YOU money.

you are able to't. The MLS is cooperatively owned by technique of the realtors contained in the area, get entry to to the MLS is the manager service that they promote. the perfect you are able to desire for is a few lower price agent who will list you on the MLS and do not some thing else to marketplace your position and furnish you with a decreased fee for this lack of finished service.
