On the official site is says every 11-13 weeks. Why?
If I get it every 13 weeks am I less protected than if I get it every 11 weeks?
I don't understand...

I don't know when my periods are because before Depo-Provera I was on Yaz and didn't take the placebo pills, just started the next pack. I needed to do this because of endometriosis and bad PMDD.

Call your doctors office they should have records.

They should have also given you a calendar thing of when your next shot is due.

You have a ONE WEEK before your shot date and ONE WEEK after your shot date for a grace period. If you do not get it within that time you need to take a pregnancy test before getting the shot again.

It usually lasts in your system for 12-13 weeks. I would get one every 12 to be safe.

No, it is based on each persons cycle.
