I do, I have a gorgeous female shepherd named Lady. She is beautiful and so sweet. We got her at the pound about 5 years ago. When people drive up in my yard and see her, the first thing they ask is, Will that dog bite? My husband always says, Not too hard!!

They are one of my favourite dogs,the other being a staffordshire bull terrier, I had a staffy for 13 years they are fantastic dogs.I would love to own a german shepherd if I had the room.

They were called German Shepherds until after the Second World War, when they became Alsations to encourage the British to buy and keep them. It makes no difference today. they're nice until trained by the police and general idiots.

I've always loved them! They're so beautiful and at the same time very intimidating to some people. I saw some german sheperd puppies the other day and I've decided I've got to go back and get one as a pet.

My brothers and I grew up with a large white German Shepard and he was the best dog in the world as far as we were concerned. He was very protective and fun to play with, and while he didn't generally bite anyone, he didn't hesitate to bite anyone who he felt was threatening to any of us. I really loved that dog. His name was Scotty.
