Yes, I was a sandwich designer. It was fun for awhile. Lots of young student help so some are really lazy and try to stick you with all the work. Just remember no matter where you work to do your job, but don't let others get away with sitting back, speak up, tell them, you can do it in a joking way then turn on your heel so they know you do mean it.

What someone said earlier is very true. It all depends who you're working for and how you get along with your co-workers. Luckily for me I don't have a problem with my boss or my coworkers infact they're all nice people. Yes sometimes you may have rude customers but I find that very rare in my store and the job can get pretty busy if your store has a lot of customers. You have to get used to working at a fast pace. What sucks is closing. You have to clean up the whole place and make sure everything gets prepared by tomorrow. Overall working at subway is easy and enjoyable. :0)

Yes...I was only 18 and it seemed like only the preppy stuck up girls worked there. So it wasn't an enjoyable experience for me. I didn't work there for long before I found a different job at Dairy Queen. Now there's a fun place to work!

For one day. I hated it cause the ladies I worked with were jerks, a customer asked her to make a certain sandwich that she didn't like making and she rolled her eyes and said "not again". I thought that was rude. And the whole job just in general sucked. Why did you get a job there? I don't mean to discourage you if you did. To each, their own, you might like it.

Yes, I did. The job itself wasn't all that bad, but MAN were there some rude people. It would get frustrating because people would treat you like you were retarded because your job entailed making their sandwich.
You saw some INTERESTING combinations for sandwiches, also. I remember one guy used to come in and get a tuna sandwich with bacon... then proceed to top it off with vinegar and mustard... bleh.

I worked for them in the late nineties and I didn't like it. I was there for a year and i hated my boss. It makes all the difference in the world depending on who you work for.

no, but I'd rather lick floors at McDonalds.
Hmm.. what is it like?
little pimple-faced teenagers with piercings on just about every body part, who have no clue how to treat customers.
No thank you. I get sick to my stomach watching those kids.
