I'd say, personally, it's about fifty fifty. Work is necessary to get things done and to get paid. Working without any fun time in between can cause stress overload which makes the mind and soul deteriorate. It's all about balance.

Yes.
I think all human endeavour should be to increase happiness, and reduce suffering. What other goal could be more valid?
A qualification here would be that to maximise happiness over time, we as a species would also have to continue existing for as long as possible, and hence that brings in factors about environment, ecosystems, and food supply as high priorities too.
Someone tell me something more important than this? If you do, we can have a quick debate. If not, I win!!!! (and that will make me happy!)
Good question

Fun and work should be one in the same. Anybody who tells you that work isn't supposed to be fun is sadly mistaken. I mean, why not have fun and get paid a ****load of money for doin' it? That's my plan & i'm stickin' to it.
