I have a field trip tommrow and we have to dress business casual , whats that. Is it business attire ?

For men business casual is:
1) Long sleeve dress shirt or polo shirt
2) Khakis, chinos or wool pants
3) Leather belt w/ leather shoes (ex. loafers or lace up oxfords)
4) For outer wear: sweater or sports jacket
No jeans, tee shirts, sandals, athletic shoes.
Tie is optional.

I used to work in a bank and when I had to go to classes in another town, we had to wear business casual attire. For men, it was khaki's, chinos, etc. with a nice polo or dress shirt, usually no ties and a nicer pair of shoes, not as nice as what you would wear with a suit but no sneakers either. I am not sure if this varies according to your location but that's how it was for us. Good luck with your field trip. I'm sure whatever you wear, you will be HOT! :)

Yes. Business attire but no suits or dressy dress. Plain, simple slacks, nice shirt, no jeans or t-shirts.

Chino's/Khakis & shirt with a collar. Avoid tennis shoes and flip flops/sandles for guys
