It takes a while to drive all the way down to the end of the peninsula, but the scenery and food are well worth the trip (even if you are driving there from Michigan at $3.49 a gallon).

Visit the Weathervane in Kittery Maine, also a great place to shop. As you go from Kittery north along the coast, there's probably dozens of great places to eat that are also not too expensive, all the way to Portland Maine. Have a great vacation!!!
