All of the reasons we were given for invading Iraq were a lie. I think we should look at how to end the conflict were are currently in, and refrain from planning future conflicts.

Bush Sr's, sure. Powell Doctrine of Overwhelming Force works. Rumsfeld Doctrine of Bargain-Basement Shock & Awe, not so well...

I would change 2 things.
1. I would run a better PR campaign for it.
2. I would have a congress that physically supported the troops and not just verbally when they are in the spotlight.

FDR leading us into WW2. Germany never attacked us, Japan did.
Truman finished that war and started one in Korea. Korea never attacked us.
JFK started a conflict in Vietnam. Vietnam never attacked us.
Clinton went to war in Bosnia without French or UN consent. Bosnia never attacked us.
In the years since the terrorist attacks, President Bush has liberated two countries, crushed the taliban, crippled al-qaida and captured a terrorist who slaughtered 300,000 of his own people. That's just for starters.
