Basically animal testing hasnt benefited us at all. studies may work on animals but in the long run do nothing for humans. Chemicals that are designed and used in products dont get tested at all and are the biggest cause of sickness and death. So animal testing on a whole doesn't benefit any one.

1) Animals and humans are quite different. Just because an effect is observed or not observed in animal does not mean the same will happen in a human.
2) They are living creatures that feel pain. It is quite unethical.
