Do older things like Monty Python and The Goodies do it for you?

How about the newer stuff - Black Books, Spaced, Catherine Tate or the League of Gentlemen?

Expect Monty Python to dominate the answers, followed by Blackadder and Red Dwarf. The only one on your "newer stuff" list I'm familiar with is League of Gentleman. Personally, I'd say The Young Ones.

Edit: How could I forget AbFab? Absolutely.

Absolutely Monty Python. Benny Hill was a favorite also.

Well, Monty Python is of course at the top. I can't relate to people who don't find it funny.
But I love Absolutely Fabulous, The Office and Coupling.
I have not watched any of the newer ones you mentioned.
