Yes-we live outside city limits, and so I try to combine errands to make as few trips into town as possible.

Once a week-I work at a State School Facility that is 10 miles from home, so I do as little driving as possible.

Not really-the town that I live outside of has a population of only about 120,000. The buses are few, and the trolley is broken down.

I haven't bought gas since September 2004. The bus system is adaquate but I walk more than I ride the bus.

no I'm not conserving - there is no shortage. I fill up about every 400 miles (time varies). Our mass transit system is a lousy bus company subsidized by tax dollars. I buy my own gas with my own money and I'll burn as much of it as I please. The only reason oil is in short supply is because of oil producers managing how much is available.
