Well, considering the present apathy of our team, I think some experience and some quality outfielding is required at this stage. Besides, without a proper coach now,it is upto the senior players to step up and offer some valuable tips to youngsters like Munaf and Sreesanth. So, I think Agarkar should be back in the team

Agarkar had a wonderful start to his ODI career,at one point of time he held the record of fastest to 50 wickets which was later broken by shane bond.
At times he has produced match winning spells like the 6-fer in Adelaide, therefore his ability is not in doubt.
But he always promised much only to disappoint. What India requires are fast bowlers which can give spells of 3-40.Ajit as of late has been producing spells of 1-60.It was right to drop him,(but by the same argument others in the team should have been dropped too).
What India requires is a fresh breed of fast bowlers.Looking forward should be the order of the day not turning back.
But if agarkar can re-invent himself and perform well in the domestic circuit, then their is no reason to keep him out coz he's got experience on his side.
The question isn't whether he is a bad bowler or otherwise, rather it is does agarkar deserves a place in the side.
And on current form, performance and hunger the answer is a plain NO.

A joke: Agarkar has been called for the ODI. When he hears them,he says that He wont come. The captain asks y? He says that
First I need A Ghar (Home) & A car for winning the game. So I named Agarkar and Ajit was named because I joined in Chit fund and met with Loss

Agarkar had lot of opportunities. However, he has never performed to his full potential. Since emphasis should be on young talent, I do not think that he should be called back in the side.

He can be a choice for selectors. He is having a good track record, with consistency. We can consider him as an unlucky bowler.*
