I had a miscarriage last month and have already bled and everything.Well now i'm having really sharp pains down there.And I mean my vagina area.What do you think could be going on??I haven't started my period yet since the miscarriage.Should I call my doctor and make an apt . ?Or is this normal???

There is no discharge or smell.And I have had several UTI's so I know what they feel like.Its not one.Its just sharp pain down there off and on.And I have no fever.I feel expect for that.

First of all, condolences for your loss. I've had a couple of miscarriages too, and they're never easy. But to get to the point- Please, please, please call your doctor immediately. If the pain is extreme and/or you're running a fever, feeling faint nauseous, etc. have someone get you to the emergency room now. A uterine infection is nasty business. Don't wait. Even if you're unsure, it's better to be seen by ER staff than by a mortician.

I would call the doctor and ask...sounds like you have an infection...does it have an odor? any discharge? if you are having an on and off again fever...for sure call the doctor...good luck...

Do an appointment and get a sonography.
