If you love swimming and can be competitive, I wouldn't worry about what others think on how you look.

Joining the team will help you keep the discipline of working out and you may just lose the extra weight.

Good Luck and have fun!

I can sort of relate...I joined the military and we have to strip down in front of a lot of people a lot (showers, physical training, and group check-up). You just have to remember that no one cares as much as you think they do. Really, YOU are YOUR worst critic. No one is going to give a rat's **** if your a good swimmer. No one is going to be checking out your body LIKE THAT.
So don't worry, k?

Plus, my spouse's a babe with super legs and he or she nevertheless does superb issues to a sweater, even after 2 toddlers and 15 years of marriage. So I have been on condition that going for me, that's superb. Please use this suggestions to be extra empathetic whilst coping with guy acquaintances, and not as a weapon in some sort of "risky Liasons" guy-crushing flow.
