Yes, they are brother, with Martin Sheen as their father. Estavez is their family name. Sheen is a screen name.
Edit: they are NOT 1/2 brothers. Martin Sheen has been married to the same woman forever.

They are brothers. They are full brothers NOT half brothers. Martin Sheen is the brother of actor Joe Estevez. Martin Sheen adopted the Sheen name to help him get acting jobs. He chose the name because of his admiration for the Rev. Fulton J. Sheen. Emilio is the oldest of the kids and wanted to use the original family name and it is true that he did not want to rely on his dads success to make it. Charlie opted to use the Sheen name. Charlie and Emilio's younger siblings, Ramon and Rene also use the Estevez name. Martin has appeared in numerous movies with this kids and played the part of their father many times.

Yes... they are both the sons of Martin Sheen. Martin Sheen changed his last name from Estevez to Sheen when he became an actor. Charlie did as well, but Emilio chose to keep the family name. I'm sure imdb.com could tell you more if you want to know.

Charlie adopted the Sheen stage name while Emilio elected to keep his real last name.
