Assuming you mean one thing I could change that otherwise would be impossible to change - I will say that I would change the way people are rude to each other. If politeness were the rule and not the exception, we would all be much happier.
Wherever you look: on the highways, in the office, playing in games and on the sidelines, in the movies, at the library, and especially online, people are intentionally offensive and rude.
Those few who are civil in their dealings with their fellow beings are mocked and looked down upon.
It is interesting to note that in this online society of anonymity that many people choose an alter ego of a boorish jerk rather than a polite, unassuming, conscientious human being. I think that is a sad commentary on the true state of our society.
Witness the number of thumbs down I will get simply by wanting people to be polite. They will prove my point.

What children are taught. I would love to see an experiment where children were raised in an environment of love, tolerance and acceptance of differences among human beings and compassion for animals/wildlife.
After they were adults to hope that their "generation" could stop the cycles of war and poverty in the world.

i'd make everyone honest so we would all know where we stand all the time, it might mean more hurt feelings but at least we would know the whole story/ whats really going on etc all the time.

It's like the Nickleback song...basicaly if everyone would be kind and accept others for who they are, "we'd see the day where nobody died!"

I'd make people become more politically conservative and also more secular and not base everything on religious reasoning.
