Is it okay to have a mix of say 2 moonlight guaramis and 2 powder blue guaramis...basically, is it okay to have a mixture or just the same type - and if you have more than one of each type together or just all one type - will they coexist?

Thanks!

You can mix species of gourami usually without any real trouble at all. Gold or Blue gouramis sometimes get a bit aggressive with smaller species such as dwarfs but on the whole you should be safe. Moonlights are quite peaceful and shouldn't be a problem at all.

Most guaramis will get along good, but some of them can get rather large, like pink kissing guaramis can get up to 12 inches , most other get from 2-6inches, try to get the ones that will be close in size. Hope this helps!
