This Friday, I'm driving up Maryland, taking 95 North, then onto the Turnpike toward exit 10.

Is the current situation with the fires affecting Turnpike traffic?

The NJ Turnpike is not close to where the fire was in South Jersey's Pine Barrens, which abuts the Garden State Parkway. The Parkway was only marginally impacted & is now OK.

Nope, the Turnpike is okay.

The fires have been put out as of yesterday and even the all roads are open (including Routes 72, 539, and the Garden State Parkway).

NJ Turnpike is fine. Even the Garden State Parkway is open. Yesterday's rains helped them get the fires under control. Tomorrow (Friday) it is supposed to rain most of the day, so the fires should be out by then.
