without a Barry Bonds question? or better yet, 4 or 5 a day. It seems the newb's never even bother to check to see that their question has only been asked a dozen times that week.

Exactly Mike. I come in here to talk baseball, not to answer for the 4,508,298,177 time "do you think bonds will break Aaron's record" or "do you think Bonds is a cheater?"

It's not just the newbies. I'm also certain that some people simply keep asking the same question over and over (changing the wording doesn't change the question) simply because they're looking for everyone to agree with them. Most people have brains of their own and use them, and those of us who do use them know why some players are doing what they are doing.

If we must get involved with any type of a PED question on a baseball board, then let's make certain that it's one that points out, to everyone, just how dangerous this stuff is, and how you can tell that someone is using.

As to the particular type of question to which you refer, let's just say that I wouldn't miss them if they dropped off the face of the planet.

Thank you so much for this statement. Baseball is so much more than Bonds and steroids, Why can't we all talk about the great things it has to offer and more of the hundreds of positive things baseball players accomplish and what the game brings to it's fans every day

I go every day without Barry Bonds questions. Than again I never heard of him either.

You're right! All the reporters who have a feeling that he's on steroids are literally almost draining the answer out of him. If they keep this up, he'll confess and humiliatingly retire from the game. To everyone that's reading this question and answer, don't do that to him. Besides, I heard steroids don't even guarantee home runs.
