It seems like everytime I am running late there is traffic or every slow driver gets on the road and block all of the lanes. What is that?

Kenfxds- you should not even be answering the question. The whole point is that I am not on time or early, I am late. Unless I can use a time machine your answer is pointless!!

Because especially in the morning the closer you get to 8 o'clock the more traffic there is. So the later you leave, the more traffic there is. Same thing in the afternoon when you get close to 5 o'clock.

Isn't that one of the properties of Murphy's Law? If something goes wrong, it happens when you have the least amount of time to deal with it.

It's just your perception. When you are in a hurry, you notice them all, whereas if you are not in a hurry, you just ignore them as normal.
