Seriously, it is a mad, crazy rush so don't go.
Unless you are a celeb or an important movie person - forget it. You will be trampled and ignored.
Go in early July and enjoy it.

I dunno, it's really gone hollywood and voting F911 as best film wasn't a sign it's the great festival it was even 15 years ago. I'd rather go to Venice or Berlin or even stockholm or rotterdam than cannes the way things are now.
