I am TTC for a month. I had my last period on 17th April and was on BC for two mnts. Pls note that doctor suggested me coz I hv irregular periods. I have yellowish discharge started today which scares me a bit. Do u think I could be pregnant? Is it a sign? We were doing sex every other day. I did a preg. test today but it was negative.
What is cervical mucus though?

You should go to Dr. about the discharge. Sounds like you have a minor infection. Don't have sex until you vist your ob/gyn. You could still be pregnant. Be concerned if discharge has odor and itching. Cervical Mucus is just what the name implies. Mucus from the lining of your cervix. The mucus does change when you are ovulating.

ok cm: cervical mucus should look like 'eggwhites' on your most fertile days. The most fertile day of the month is 14 days from the FIRST day of your period. Pardon me if the next part sounds strange, but I've been doing this for years, so maybe I'm immune to 'gross'! LOL Upon insertion of a clean finger, your cervix would be low, easy to find and partly open on your fertile days. Now if you become pg, it will go up higher and close. Also you may have a bluish tint around the vulva vaginal area. Sorry to be blunt, but I wish someone had explained all of this to me when we were trying to concieve are second child. I spent years thinking I had secondary infertility and here we were just 'doing the deed' on the wrong day!!!! LOL

Yellow discharge can signal an infection, but it can also be a normal thing. I'm about to turn 32, so my cycles are getting a little wonky too. Lots of luck to you:)

I would see your Dr. about the yellowish discharge, it may be a sign of infection.
