Just that.....past tense........they were good Back in the day but technology have advanced so now everyone has cell phones instead of pagers, tv does not go off at a certain time with pledge of alliance, everybody has a home computer or lap top, Music is now made with CD's instead of records, 40 is the new 30, and world is concerned with global warning etc.\\
The NOW-A-DAYS are much better.

The good old days were good because people were more lovable and help one another out in need. The food tasted better. You didn't have to worry babysetters because families were always there to lend a helping hand. The clothes were more stylish and more presentable looking. Music sounded better.

Everything was cheaper, and news didn't travel so fast. Therefore, when bad stuff happened people didn't know and just went on with their "good old lives". (and don't you know, in the good old days they thought the good-good old days were better)
