Katie Higkumbothum, had been a friend of Kitty's and Matt's many years. Katie was sitting in her buggy, when she saw Kitty come stumbling down the stairs. Out of curiosity, she watched to see what Kitty was up to. She saw a quill type object in Kitty's mouth, and wonderd what she was doing. Katie hardly ever came to town, and had no idea that Kitty and Matt had gone seperate ways.
She observed, the young woman grabbing the back of her neck and falling, but just didn't put two and two together.
Katie saw Matt kneal down beside the young woman, and heard him say "That Girl Is Mine"...she thought ofcourse, that the girl was some kind of trouble maker.
It seemed to her, that everything was about normal, for a day at Dodge City, that's why she prefered to live many miles away. She had finished her shopping, gave her horse the signal, and rode out of town.
As she rode along, she thought, if this horse had wings, I could be "Flying To My Home".
Back in Dodge, the town was buzzing.
Matt came out into the streets and yelled, Did "You Listen To What The Man Said?"
Have any of you seen anything out of the ordinary this morning? "I've Had Enough,!
Matt then turned to Festus and thanked him for trying, but it seemed there wasn't anyone, seen anything."
Matt walked back over to the LongBranch, to question Kitty again, but when he got there, Kitty was passed out cold, across her bed, with most pleasant smile on her face. Matt stormed out of the room, and back down the stairs. Sam, called to him, it's a shame Katie couldn't have stayed in town today, I was wanting to take her to Dinner.
Matt stopped in his tracks...Katie Higumbothum was here? Did she come to visit Kitty? No, Katie came in long enough to see her friend souced, and left, without a word.
What time was she here Sam, asked Matt? Just about a half hour ago, I saw her ride out of town.
Matt jumped on the back of his trusty steed and rode as fast as the horse could go, in the direction of Katie's farm. He thought he could see someone about a mile ahead, and started yelling Katie's name. As luck would have it, Katie could hear her name faintly, and turned to see, whether or not it was her imagination. She saw that it was Matt, and turned the buggy around and rode back up the road to meet him.
Howdy Matt, what brings you out here, hollered Katie. Katie, replied Matt, I don't have much time. Did you see anything strange going on in Dodge while you were in town? Katie thought a few minutes, and said no....everything seemed..she stopped.
Why do you ask? As quickly as he could, Matt told her about the goings on in Dodge, and about Sunshine, and Kitty's heavy drinking. Before he could say, that he thought Kitty had something to do with it....Katie turned pale and started shaking. Katie told Matt what she had seen, but had not thought a lot about it. "This Never Happened Before", Matt! What's wrong with her?
Matt, half smiled and said "You Gave Me The Answer", thanks Katie! He rode away as fast as he could, leaving Katie sitting there in tears, worried about the young woman, she had seen fall onto the street.

It was Heaven on a Sunday, and I had the top down, the picnic packed, and was heading for the Heart of the Country. Soon I would pick up little Liza Jane at her house. I really dug this chick and I was ready for No More Lonely Nights. Today after a champagne lunch, I was going to "pop the question". With a Little Luck she would say "Yes, Yes, Yes"! I could only hope that she would never find out about The Other Me. If she ever did, the Spirits of Ancient Egypt would have my asp in a sling. I was worried that my alter ego would be discovered by the girl I loved. High Priest of the Goddess Ankor Awa was not a position that I could share with anyone. My horoscope had indicated that Venus and Mars are Alright Tonight, so I had to hope that the other planets had not altered since Yesterday. If they had shifted , I could hope To Live and Let Die. "She's worth it," I thought to myself as I pulled in the driveway and laid on the horn.

I was flying to my home when I met a beautiful stewardess. I invited her home and we had some good times. It's been over a year now and I have had enough. A man told me to just lock her in the closet in case I decide I want her back later. Then you gave me the answer, don't listen to what the man says, the fridge is more secure and will keep her fresh. That is why I am writing you this note of Thanks. Thank you Mr, Dahmer for the fine advice. This never happened before so I wasn't sure what to do.

I knew I had to creep up very slowly, and make not a sound. I managed to do this in Good time, as I knew I had to listen to what the man said who wore the black hat.
If I didn't get most of the information of their next movement, it could mean danger tonight in the Saloon, and probably a show down, tomorrow at high-noon!
So once satisfied with what I knew, I snuck away, and jumped on my horse, galloping off to let the Sheriff and his Posse know of what I heard when I listened to what the man said! :-)
