The molecule is a benzene ring with a three carbon alcohol attached to it. The alcohol has the hydroxyl attached to the second carbon in the group of three. It is basically a benzene ring with a three carbon secondary alcohol attached. Please tell me how i would go about naming it.

The rules of nomenclature are not as rigid as all that. You could for example, regard the alcohol as a substituent, and call it '(2-hydroxy)propylbenzene', or you could regard the benzene as a substituent and call it '1-phenyl-propan-2-ol' or '1-phenyl-2-propanol'. It doesn't matter, as long as the name is unambiguous.
