What's the harm of starting new meds instead of waiting?

Is my previous question that explains everything.

The doc wants me to wait until I reach my period but my body cannot reach periods on its own!! So what's the harm of starting the meds now??

The doctor is probably waiting to see how your body acts. Since you are a new patient, he is trying to get a feel for your specific case. Talk to him about your concerns and if he is not willing to listen, find another doctor.

Talk to your doctor and tell him/her that you have not started yet.

I would NOT start medication UNTIL you have the doctors consent.
