i posted this earlier but want more opinions - i know no one knows when it happens but i've had daily signs that it's coming. check this out. i'm 34 weeks, 3 cm dilated, 50% effaced, the baby is at -2 station, and last night i lost my entire mucus plug. i was in the hospital the other day with contractions 3-5 minutes apart but they went away. i've had painful contractions the past few days and am on pelvic rest with limited exercise. how long do you think i have? things seem to be moving fast!

when you have that feeling that you have to go pee all the time that usally means that you only have a couple of days or maybe hours left. i have three kids and all of them came while i was asleep or on my way.

wow you have had a lot going on. it does seem like labor will be soon. but with you only being 34 weeks unless your water breaks there is a good chance that your dr will try to stop your contractions if you go to the hospital. with my daughter i went to the hospital 3 times before 36 weeks and they stopped them. when i was almost 37 weeks i went to the hospital and the contractions didn't progress things enough, so they gave me something for pain and sent me home. i ended up going the entire 40 weeks minus a day.
you can just never tell. i don't think that you will go the full 40 weeks since your already dialated to 3 and at -2 station.

It won't be too long now! Try to quit worrying, relax and try to enjoy it. When you are in real labor, you'll know it. Report any fever to your Dr. Drink fluids and no heavy meals.
Good luck!

I am worried for you it is to early, I might suppose that you are suppose to be on bedrest so do so please and maybe on medication to stop contractions. Why are you asking us? I hope that all goes well and you might want to see your doctor again soon.

Nobody, not even doctors know how long you have. You are on your way though!
