OMG u have no idea, i was so upset and shocked, i love melinda and i really thought she was at least going to make to the final two or maybe even win. i was almost in tears. it sucks

Very shocked. Pissed off even that America has screwed it up again. Blake just does not have the talent of either Jordin or Melinda. But, there go the teenyboppers again. Ohhhh . . . Blake . . . Sorry but even if I was a teenybopper, I don't think Blake would do it for me. I don't get it. His vocals are mediocre (sp) at best, the beat boxing gets on my nerves, he's not a great entertainer, the dancing, yuch. He's just not all that. At least Melinda had a great voice going for her. And to heck with all the people commenting on her looks. I don't buy a CD because of someones looks, I buy it for the sound. I was really shocked and upset last night. I just hope the teenyboppers don't take Blake all the way, cause Jordin has more talent then Blake.

No, I am not shocked or a maze of the travesty that occurred last night this is not a matter of race or unfair judging. It's a matter of little teenagers voting on these contestants that's the reality of the show so you will always get these type of results. When you have teenagers determining the winner are they wrong? No. They are teenagers! I strongly believe that the judging should be done on a different format by other professional singers in the industry making the final decision on the contestants, but also have the public involved as well, with a collaboration of both the public and industry professionals. The judging will be much more balanced until we have a different voting system and take it away from the teenagers. You will have these type of results.

Not really. I think Jordin has an advantage in looks and personality. Both Jordin and Blake get more votes from teenagers and younger fans.
I liked Chris Sleigh and thought he should have made the top 5 but I don't think he had the appeal factor that Sanjaya had.
I am looking forward to the CD that will Melinda will make sometime in the next year.

Even tho Melinda was the best vocalist, she was not appealing to the younger set. She is more an adult favorite with the likes of Whitney Houston, Tina Turner and so on. My favorite is Blake and always has been. I think tho he isnt a great singer, he brings alot to the competition in terms of talent and he is appealing to the younger set with that contemporary flair he can put to older songs and it dont hurt that he's adorable in the looks department either. I'm 55 and find he quite refreshingly different, and I like it. Hope he wins, but I'm thinking it will be Jordin, which is ok too. They all deserved it for making it that far!

I was definitely shocked. Anyways, even though she did not win the AI title she will still land a record deal. With a voice like hers, who wouldn't. I just hope Blake wins. Jordin is more of a karaoke singer and Blake has personality and originality.

i was shocked b/c MELINDA is really good
i think the public sent her hoMe b/c simon said he wanted to c her in the finale
i like jordin sparks she's got alot of range and good song control but she doesnt truly perform she just sings
blake is however a better entertainer he has his own style and his personality shines through his performances
i an only wait for the finale songs to make up my mind
for now i like entertainers so go BLAKE

I was shocked,but I think I know why they sent her home......Jordin & Melinda are the two best singers,and they didn't want the two ladies to be last two.But I'm not worried,cause I know that Jordin is going to win I like Blake too,but all he does in every songs is beebop.

Yeah, I was shocked, because I thought for sure melinda would be in the final. I thought Jordin would be sent home. I guess I will vote for Blake.

Shocked yes....but after thinking about it for a bit realized that the people who voted for Sanjaya are now voting for Blake.
