I dreamed I was in prison with both of them and the guards gave my boyfriend these papers he had to sign if he wanted to keep me and the guy in prison forever if he believed I cheated on him. I woke up just before he was about to make his decision. I never told him I cheated on him, and it was nearly 6 years ago. Does this dream mean I should tell him? I woke up so scared.

you feel truly guilty from what your dream is telling me,i hope you don't see yourself doing this ever again,cheating always holds you back in a relationship. i don't believe you should tell him not after 6 years but don't worry it will pass. do think about the reasons you might be dreaming about this guilt now. are you more in love and scared that he might do the same or are you trying to let him go because the relationship is not as it use to be. It's harder for a guy to let something like this go than it is for a girl and that's why its best if he never finds out. if you choose to tell him be ready for what comes next. Good luck.

Perhapes there was some truth in what was said about him on the site and he doesn't like it that you have found out just a guess. As far as the dream goes its your subconscious warning you listen to it usually a gut feeling turns out to be right!! good luck x

It's your mind's way of expressing your feelings/ fears. Your afraid he'll never forgive you for it, and you will therefore be "punished forever." Or maybe you subconsciously think you and the guy you cheated with should rot in jail for doing what you did...

It's an attack of conscience. I don't think you should tell him. It's water under the bridge. Doing so will only hurt him unneccessarily at this point.
As long as you have not strayed since, take it as a lesson well learned and appreciate what you have with your boyfriend now. Good luck.

good luck dealing with your unconscious that has decided to become your "conscious".
it means that you are afraid of your boyfriend's decision if he finds out and it shows that you think of your cheating as a huge crime punishable with imprisonment.
