one of the definitions of rape is "Abusive or improper treatment; violation"
i don't think a ma can be raped in the same way a woman can, but he can be taken advantage of, whether drunk, coerced (like by a boss)... or by a big woman named bertha.

Rape is defined as the crime of forcing another person to submit to sex acts, especially sexual intercourse.

It is frequently defined as penetration of the anus or the vagina by a penis. I agree that it is rare to hear of men being raped but I would imagine it is for more common than we think as men are stereotypically stronger than women and women stereotypically are more submissive, unfortunately society has a complex about men showing weakness in any way, and so many will say nothing out of embarrassment and shame. Your friend is very brave to speak out - justice won't be easy but I hope others find the courage to speak so that the issue becomes better known and men like your friend can get the justice they deserve.

I read an article once in some magazine (True Life? True Story? Don't remember) about 5 girls who gang raped a guy at a party. He was known to be really weak physically, health problems like bad asthma and such, so he couldn't put up much of a fight. They forced an errection and took turns on him. The guy was so ashamed and humiliated that he'd been raped by a bunch of girls (another sign of weakness and no one would ever believe him) that he went home and killed himself.
So yes, a man can be raped. Not to mention that there are laws that define rape as sex against one's will, whether man, woman, or child. Men are raped, too, but if you were a guy who was raped, would you admit to it and have your name plastered all over the newspaper and on TV?

Anybody can be raped,if your a man and you hate or can't stand a woman yes,you could be raped,most men won't admit it though for the simple reason nobody would believe them,like the person your talking about.

Men and women can both be aroused against their wills. There have been cases of women being found guilty of raping men.
A famous one happened about 20 years ago, when 2 women restrained a Jehovah Witness or Mormon guy who came to the door.
They tied him up in bed and used him for pleasure over an extended period of time.

Someone very close to me told me he was raped. He was like 10 years old and the girl was in her teens. I believe that if a person feels like they've been taken advantage of it is rape. It doesn't have to be violent or anything and it certainly doesn't make a difference if you know the person or not. Rape is rape. Male to female. Female to male. Male to male. Female to female. Friend or stranger. It's rape.

Yes I do. It's no different than a woman been raped by her husband. People who say a man can't be raped by his wife, is like saying a woman can't be raped by her husband. When in reality u can. So for these stupid people who say u can't need to get their facts straight.

If rape means being forced to have sex against you stated will i.e. when you have said no then anyone can be raped man or woman, proving this in court is a different matter.

If a woman puts a gun to a man's head and forces him to have sex without him wanting to then it is rape and idc what anyone else says. So yes it can happen but just not as much.....

yes i do believe a man can be raped , but i find it funny because a man is a lot stronger than a woman unless she tied him to the bed post while he was sleeping
