i dunno whether this qualifies as love or not, but i had liked this guy for the past 3 years, like ever since i had been 11 till around the age of 14...after that we both had joined different schools...i really liked him a lot, not just an infatuation or anything...if he felt sad then i felt the same way...i had great times with him, we both always shared a lot of jokes...i miss those times

Over the years love can change. You love them and want to be with them and care for their welfare but you do not feel the SPARKS of love. For many of us, that is the frustration. Life turns to the day in and day out process of living and we no longer feel any newness or have any surprises.
When you are young and in love, it is the newness of that relationship and all the surprises of the future that make it so special. You dream of what you life will be like.
As time goes on, many of those years are behind you and you have nothing special to look forward to and your relationship becomes stale. So to keep it fresh you must work at it. Keep it exciting. How????
Here are some examples:
Do something New and refreshing every day
Make lots of changes never stay the same
Keep both your dreams and be working on them faithfully
Create alone time with your partner
Take regular time off for small excursions (dinner, movies, camping)
Share you LOVE in little ways (rub his back, little kisses, etc)
Write him a love letter and put it in his lunch or briefcase
Talk, Talk Talk. Communication is important to a strong relationship
Build on your love base, make life fun and spontaneous (get out of the rut)
Love and marriage you have to work at. It can come easy but to keep it it must become your Priority.
Get in touch with all your feelings. You need to know how each feels in order to realy feel love (hate, sadness, joy, pride, loathing, anger etc). Once you feel these in your gut, you can connect to LOVE.
Remember you must LOVE yourself first before you can ever LOVE anyone else, including your MATE.
Work on it. It is worth it. Good Luck

2 years ago, but the feelings were not mutual i loved him, he did not love me; sometimes i wonder how it would be like if he did love me!
you forgot how it feels..? oh...how wonderful it is..until the ride is over, that is when you feel lost and confused.
But thankfully i love myself now and i am thinking about things that are positive in my life, and you should to!
peace and God Bless

my last marriage and I don't ever think I will love someone like I loved him.
I seem to have put up a guard around my heart and I can't remove it.â¥

Oh wow......been about a year and a half.....I moved here to Texas for him, and he dumped me, and then proceeded to marry someone else about 6 months later.......
Bad thing is, I still miss him, and can't bring myself to wish him any ill will.......
C'est la vie, I suppose........
