situation: you are on a ship with your mother, wife (or husband), and daughter (or son), and the ship you are on is about to sink. you are a good swimmer, but you can only save only one person. who would you save? and why?

That is a really hard question, but, I would have to save my child......I know you only have one mother, you can always get remarried (sorry), but, god gives us children to protect and nuture and I would have to do my job as a mother to make sure my child is with me and safe****

I would find a way to save my wife and child somehow. Knowing my wife she would want me to save the child and go on but I don't think I could do that. We'd all get out alive or die trying together.

That would be one of the hardest things I would have to do but I would save my child because they have a full life ahead of them and pray that my husband and mother can save themselves

The child because they would need the most help and all adults if asked would choose the same. Personally, I would do my best to save everyone. Clever minds work miracles.

i would save my kids. that would be hard to leave the husband and the mother behind but my kids are my life so i would save my kids if i could.

There is no question here.. I would save my children in a heartbeat over ANYONE else!! I actually had an ex-fiance that asked me this same question and he was ticked because I would rather choose my children over him.. Hence, why he is now my "ex"....
