different than a chat room?

We're not talking back and forth, maintaining a conversation on here.
Once you post an answer, you don't get to post another one over and over, (though you can edit your original), so there's not much of the back-talk you get on a chat room where members start bashing each other back and forth when they don't like the other's answer.
It's not based on spur of the moment comments and emotions, most of the answers you receive are given by people who have gone looking for your type of question. Usually that gives you more of a logical, experienced answerer than a chat room would.
Also, here the categories and best answer awards help sort out not only what your looking to ask and answer but who to trust an answer from. For example, if you ask a question and get an answer from answerer X, then you can check out their profile and see how they've been rated before. If you see that they've answered many questions in the same category as yours, and that they've repeatedly received best answer on many of them, then you'd tend to value that person's opinion more. This allows us a way to check up on who's answering our questions in a way that a chat room doesn't.
Also, even though many chat rooms supposedly have their rules about bad behavior, you gotta admit they're not very consistent with watching for it. On here, they get rid of you pretty quick from the ones I've seen. They police it better, maybe it's just that the members are better at complaining about a repeated transgressor, but they don't stay long if they just mouth off and don't atleast try to answer.
Finally, I love that on here you don't see constant abbreviations! There are whole sentences, proper nouns, and *gasp* good grammar from most of the members. Granted, there are many who simply need to go back to elementary school, but it's not nearly as bad as a chat room.
I like this better.

well you get more thought out answers, sometimes on here though you'll have people just answering to get the points, but generally, you'll get more educated answers, suggestions, than you would on a chat room from someone who is expected to answer the question in the next 45 seconds.

at first, I the two love Yahoo! solutions and Yahoo! 360 however they are 2 various issues. What i admire approximately Y! solutions is which you get to assist human beings around the globe on the flaws that difficulty them or they are in simple terms fascinated in. maximum of all, you get to share your expertise to others which for me is a popular deal. i in my opinion do no longer use my Y! 360 account that lots yet i'd desire to declare that that's effective coz it helps me stay related to the persons i actually cherish the main like my friends and kin..And it helps me to advance my creativity and use my complicated concepts.. wish this solutions your question..

You can't post again to comment on an answer or keep up a dialog within the same space (question).
