If you can go in the summer the PERFECT and most economical way to do this would be to sublet an apartment in Boston. As you likely know the Boston area is home to TONS of Colleges, and many of the students sublet during the summer months. Some have some very nice places, and the rents are always WAY below the regular market value. You'd need to start looking very soon though.

I was surprised but Craig's list turned out to be a great resource for this. Here's a link to them. http://boston.craigslist.org/sub/. If you are able to get a Sunday Boston Globe that would also have a lot of them. But this is a good starting point.

Beyond that, it is going to be VERY expensive to find a place to stay for that long of a time. If it is off season you might be able to find a somewhat affordable place in a vacation area, but Boston would be impossible.

Best of luck finding a place! Hope you can do the summer...the town comes alive and there is so much to do!

Try the town of Beverly. A friend and I were able to find a great hotel with a kitchenette and large living room directly across from train access (which you can hardly notice). It was an AAA recommendation and if you are a member, you also get the discount. There is also a super restaurant right down the road and Beverly is only about 15 minutes from Boston proper.
It's called the Lakeview Motel.

hi! I actually have a chum who lives in Brighton and he or she quite enjoys it. that's greater laid-back than London, and since the salaries are decrease, there continues to be the alternative of commuting to London by technique of practice on a daily basis. The nightlife there is extremely buzzy and people are friendlier than in London - it ought to be because of the fact they stay by technique of the sea! I even have lived in London for 3 years and would not recommend it to anybody. no longer because of the fact it quite is costly (you earn a lot greater effective than someplace else, so which you have got sufficient funds greater!), yet because of the fact it quite is a multitude and definitely too crowded. till you reside in the centre, you are able to anticipate to be continually previous due in case you ought to count on the tube! On suitable of that, anybody is too busy to additionally be conscious that there are people around them - London is in consistent flow... I additionally heard from a similar buddy who lives in Brighton that Australia is dazzling - she spent a 300 and sixty 5 days there and pronounced that high quality of existence, opportunities, panorama etc. can't be whilst in comparison with the English ones...why would you want to return to the united kingdom? :-) besides, terrific of success!!!
