Sounds JUST like a ponzi scheme!! $5k now, 10K more next month, and three months from now with $25K in - they run off with your money. Great investment - for THEM!!!

Advice from a financial professional with many years experience . . .

o Return is a function of risk. The higher the risk, the higher the potential return (also the higher potential loss)

o The highest return on U.S. Treasuries (the lowest risk investment) is currently just under 5% - Does this tell you something about a 16% return???

o Nobody can guarantee you a 16% monthly return at the present time. If they say they can guarantee that return, then they are not telling you the truth.

o My recommendation - if you can get your money back, get it back NOW. Otherwise, you'll probably never see it again.

It's a scam, kiss that money good bye.

I've never heard of a hedge fund with a minimum investment of $5000. Given that legitimate hedge funds are only open to accredited investors with net worth (excluding primary home) of $2 million and annual income of $250k for each of the last three years, why would they have a minimum that low?

16% monthly sounds too good to be true, doesn't it? There's a reason for that.

First all hedge funds require you to be an accredited investor.

Second, most hedge funds never guarantee a specific return, since it is variable and depends on market conditions and oportunities.

So likely it's a scam, denounce them. Its the only way to put this people where they deserve: behind bars.

The remark about a Ponzi scheme is probably right on. Look up what that is. Been a scam system for a million years.

This is a scam. If you think it's real..... you need to read a couple of good books on investing.

It's sad that there are people out there taking advantage of people that need top grow their money (yet know little about investing)...........

Good luck!
