Yeah both are a joke but at least Sanjaya was funny. Idol amazed me lastnight.....Melinda blows all of the competion away and was voted off? are you freaking kidding me????!!!!! Blake wont be selling many albums other than to the 8 year old girls I guess WHO ARE TONE DEAF!@!!!!!

I have to agree with you on this one. I would of rather seen Sanjaya then the beat boxing fool Blake.
I don't think she should have been voted off. The girl had great vocals and proved it week after week.
Like Simon said, she was the most consistent one.
Whether she looked old school or not, it's not a search for the next beauty pageant. For crying out loud, it's a singing competition, and from day 1 she proved nothing but that.
They need to change the voting system and stop letting America vote bc clearly they are voting for beauty over talent. Which is sad and pathetic. That's why a lot of people don't audition for these type of shows because they know they will get shot down by America.
I wish her all the best and in my book she was the best singer this season without a doubt and she will perservare.

I agree Melinda should have not been voted off, but I do like Jordin and Blake. And I am over the age of 8, and I would by his album. He is very original and I like his spin on the songs. Again, I do agree Melinda should have stayed and Blake should have gone....
Sanjaya should have never made it past the top 24.

Well Blake beat Melinda because Blake is a Boy Band Type and most of Idol's VOTING audience are Boy Band fans and older ladies that love cute, clean cut little boys. If the older people and true music fans that watch voted in higher numbers, Melinda would still be there. It always becomes a personality contest at the end.

Blake, he can sing and he is entertaining. Sanjaya was funny and couldn't sing. This is a singing competition not a "talent show". Did not like Sanjaya and he stayed on way to long. Now that Blake is down to the finals.....well...sorry Blake I want Jordin to win.

It does matter who makes it to the end. Blake, Jordin and Melinda will all get record deals anyways.

I love Blake and Sanjaya both. I can't stand Melinda, Jordin or the fat one that got voted off last week. I cried for joy when they sent Melinda home. Besides she was so nasty to have to look at. Lets face it, looks have a lot to do with this competition whether they should or shouldn't.
