You may want to consider selling on Ebay or simply getting a part-time job. Avoid the typical network marketing scams that say you can have a "business" for under $100. This is not a business, simply of distributorship of usually crappy, overpriced products. Also, you need to determine what type of business you want to start. A part-time business filling a need in your community like a trash hauling business can be started cheaply if you have a truck. A business around your hobby, like a DJ business if you like music would be fairly inexpensive if you have a lot of CDs and music equipment. Most likely, for any real business, you would need closer to $1000 than $100.

It will be hard but it can be done. The easiest I can think of is a window washing service. For $100, you can get the most basic of window washing tools. With some hard work you could get business from a few people. Take all of the money you make and use it to get more supplies and better tools. Reinvesting is key. Do not take out a dime to spend on anything but the business.
There are probably other service type businesses that you can start to build with $100. The biggest hurdles is being a newcomer and competition. There will be other people who have provided that service for years. It is not outside of the realm of possibility to think of a service that no one else does. If you can do that and there is a market for it then you can really clean up.
One thing to watch out for is the scammers. There are plenty of people out there who want your $100. Remember, most work at home schemes are scams. This has been around for decades and today you still do not have large groups of people working at home. There are no businesses that lasted that entire time. With your low startup, you need to be extremely careful and frugal. Giving your money to someone else to run their idea of a company is throwing the money away. Start your own company. You can do it. Do some research and do some thinking. Be conservative when figuring out your market. Don't assume that people will love what you provide. Go and talk to people and find out if they are interested in paying for it and how much they would be willing to pay.

Starting your own business is tough.
1. $100 bucks isn't a lot of money to start a business
2. Your own business requires a lot of time in the beginning and being a dad of 3 it may be hard to schedule time
My best bet is to do something on web. e.g. start selling stuff of ebay, or make your own website and sell your personal services.
Best of luck

However, there are a few options I would like to direct your way. You in turn can maybe help others like you.
