With Jamarcus Russell, the 6'6 launching pad from LSU and Brady Quinn going to 2 AFC teams, it made me wonder, does the AFC just draft better QB's than the NFC. If you look right now, Palmer,Manning, Brady, Rothlisburger, Vince Young (rookie of the year)all play in the AFC. In the NFC right now, Maybe Mcnabb when he is healthy but he can't manage to do that. Maybe Bulger but he can't carry a team. Hassleback and Brees might come in 1 and 2 in there conference, but NFL wise, they would come in 4 or 5, holla back

LOL! You put Young and Rothlesburger in the same class as Palmer, Brady, and Manning???
First of all, yes, the AFC has the cream of the crop when it comes to elite QBs. It just so happened that the AFC had the top pick when Manning and Palmer were available in the draft, and Brady just sort of came out of nowhere. They aren't better at finding QBs, they were just bad enough to have the first overall picks in those drafts and got their guy.
Now, as for ranking Young and Rothlesburger higher than guys like Philip Rivers and Steve McNair...
Did you know that Young completed only 52% of his passes last year and had 13 int's to just 12 TDs? Did you know that his QB rating was a 67? If you look at how the Titans won 8 games last year, Young didn't do much. Travis Henry is the guy who kept the Titans in most games and deserves most of the credit. It'll be fun to see Young fall on his face this year without a reliable running back to fall back on.
Ben Rothlesburger had a 75 QB rating in '06. He had 18 TDs and 23 Ints. Now, if you consider those elite numbers in comparison to Bulger's and McNabb's, please explain why you feel this way.

Even without the Browns and Raiders selecting QBs in the first round, the AFC already had far superior QBs. Facts are Facts.
Carson Palmer
Peyton Manning
Tom Brady
3 of the best in the league.

Right now yes, but they go in cycles so it's not a big deal. As long as Brady and Manning stay in the AFC, the scale will tip towards AFC for years to come...

Yes, yes they do. Manning. Brady. No one else matters really (neither of those guys play for my team btw). Overall, I think on could make the assertion that the AFC is better than the NFC.

The AFC is just better all around. It is just luck. Sure, they draft better right now...but look at the 90's. The Cowboys, 49ers and Packers. Now it is the Patriots, Colts and Chargers

Statistically, the NFC QB's were better in 2006.
Favre led in pass attempts, Kitna led in completions, Brees in yards and if you want to count, Vick was the best scrambler. Among AFC QBs, only Peyton led in TD passes.
I like Leinart the next season.
