How long would you last before you lost it?
No food except what you could forrage, you'd have to make a shelter and everything.
I think I'd last about 2 days and then I'd really start freaking out and missing my luxuries.

I think you'd be surprised how long you would survive. The will to live is normally very strong in people and when faced with that sort of situation people will just keep going.
We hear of these amazing stories where people have survived really inhospitable places.
I think we'd all start missing our hme comforts straight away, as soon as you realised you can't just open the fridge for some food you would start to freak.

I think I could last a long time - I'd miss the things I've gotten used to, but I've been brought up to earn things before I can have them, so I'd probably be ok with that.

You would be shocked at the resourcefulness that emerges when truly put in a life threatening situation such as the one you describe. You will never really know your true capabilities, physical or emotional, until faced with a real scenario, not just the thought of one. I hope for you it always remains a question mark.

I'd last 7-10 days then Id go flipping crazy and probaly drown myself. Unless I had someone there to keep me strong. If I was alone, yep Id be a goner.

I feel you on missing ya luxuires thing i would just try to find a broken tree and float on it in the ocean .. But hey i learned how to fast from my indian friend so i wouldnt need food for a week but when that week is up ill be done for fa real ...

You'd have to look on the bright side, No Idiots to put up with, No double glazing sales men, and No lunatics riding up and down on these mini motor bikes, sounds like heaven.

I think I'd last a long time as long as there were sufficient food and materials on the island for me to use.

It depends on where you use to live in life for example if you lived in america and lived well-off with normal luxuries like computers, cellphones, newest clothes etc and lived with these things most of your life you would last a shorter time than the poverty struckin people who live in africa, south america etc.

I don't even think I would last 2 days. I'd have no idea what I could and couldn't eat so I'd be probably be afraid to eat anything.

As far as sanity goes, I could last forever lol, that kinda thing wouldn't drive me crazy. As far as feeding myself and what not, I guess I'd live as long as I was able to get food, so I'd probaly last until I died of starvation.
