What the HELL are some People Thinking?

I can't believe that they cut Paris Hilton's jail time in Half. What the hell kind of message is that sending to the American Public. Seriously she got time off for GOOD BEHAVIOR. The little socialite hasn't served a day in jail yet. She needs to GROW the up and be an adult and take responsibility for her actions. They might as well just let her off if they are gonna do this. She has all the advantages in the world at her little finger tips and takes everything for granted until she gets busted. The Average Joe would be servering his time, no questions ask, no one sending out petitions or asking the Governor for a pardon. She was given the jail sentence for VIOLATION of PROBATION not the DUI. She plead NO CONTEST instead of NOT GUILTY. She can't unring that bell and should serve her sentence just like everyone else. She doesn't deserve special treatment because of who she is. If anything she should be held accountable for her action even more. What message does this send to AMERICA

It says that if you have money, you can get outta anything!! Its so wrong that they cut her sentence, mark my words if this happened to you or me, we'd be serving our full sentence, and you know we'd have got more than a lame 45 days!!

I don't know exactly how it works in that state, but in Ga everyone automatically gets "good time" which is half of their actual sentence. So unless that person breaks the rules while incarcerated, they get out in half the time. (I am not defending Paris Hilton, I hope she beaks more laws and ends up in jail much longer, but I'm just stating what I know)

its bull$h!t that a b!tch like paris hilton gets her sentence cut...but typical of the american justice system to reward celebrities for "good behavior." So one time of good behavior overwrites all the previous $H!T she does. If she's soo "traumatized" of her sentence, maybe she should have made better choices with her worthless excuse of a human life. what a crappy flawed system.

The tragedy here is that she gets this treatment because people pay attention to her. Lets look at why she's famous. She hasn't done anything of value to make herself known. But people still follow her life. If people would finally stop paying attention to her, she'd wither away, and we could finally stop hearing about her. Ignore her. Please.

that in order to be god you have to own some hotels and make some tapes and keep a cocky smile on your face even while you sleep. I have yet to see her frown not once wierd well the tapes but that does'nt count

The only reason why she is gettin only half is because she has money. I bet right when she gets out she'll be doin what she does best. and thats partying, gettin drunk. and doing whatever she wants because she has money and she can. If you don't have money. then your screwed.
