I'm 24yrs old and I'm moving out of my parents house (hudson co.). I want to be in an area which offers a nice downtown area where one could meet/chill with other young people. Not quite as crazy as hoboken but a nice place where theres are social options. I want to be somewhat near the train station..any neightborhood/ street locations anyone could recommend?

Why not Morristown? Also, do you need to be in Northern NJ? If I didn't need to be in this area for work, I'd be down in Red Bank. Now that's an awesome town. Great shopping, great restaurants, plenty of bars, great social scene, and you are by the water.
