Hi,
I'm actually gonna try to use a tampon for the first time. I'm kinda nervous, can anyone give me any pointers or anything? Thanks!

same answer except i would say read the instructions. it helped me. and yes if you can feel it in you then that means its not in right. you should not be able to feel it after it is inserted. if you are having lots of problems ask your doctor or your mom, its weird asking for help. but its better than doing it wrong and having to use pads.

a) Read the instructions (seems like common sense, but seriously).
b) Do it at home where you feel comfortable, not at school/work/locker rooms, etc
c) For me, I found it easiest to stand (again, at home) and put one foot up on the bathtub, and insert it that way the first few times until I got used to it, and could do it sitting on the toilet.
d) start with a junior one - they're a little smaller and easier to handle
e) If it's uncomfortable, place a little vaseline or lubricant on the end of the application to help it go in.
f) If at first you don't succeed, try, try again (but with a new tampon...my best friend went through like 8 on her first try!)
g) If it doesn't work for now, you may be stressed; breathe, take a break, and come back to it later.

no really advice just if you can feel it then somethings wrong just take it out and try again being a girl sucks i know
