Okay, I know this might be a stupid question but I'm trying to figure out what I make monthly..lol.. How do I know what I make monthly if I get paid bi-weekly..adding two weeks? I'm just wanting to make sure.

okay, you get paid every 2 weeks. There are 52 weeks in a year, so you get paid 26 times a year. Multiple your paycheck amount times 26 to get your yearly income. Then, divide your yearly by 12 and you will have your monthly income. Make sure you multiple by 26 first. Most people will think they get paid twice a month so they multiple by 24... but then you're leaving out those 2 times that you get paid 3 times a month.

Hope that helps

Previous responders are correct in how you calculate your average monthly income, but I wanted to add something else. When I set up my monthly budget, I base it on two pay checks per month. Then when I get three pay checks in a month (which happens twice a year), I put the entire extra check in savings.

Multiply your biweekly pay by 26 to get annual, then divide by 12 to get monthly.

yes you can add your bi-weekly amounts for instance 200.00 biweekly would be 400.00 a month or you can divide your yearly income by 12.

Good luck!
