Susan Griffin's article, Our Secret, (underlined, no " ") discusses many different life themes; one such theme, denial, is found throughout many references in her essay. Griffin addresses the complexities of denial from different (since you are only mentioning two) perspectives; how she draws a connection between the denial of self and responsibility to both authority and society, and how denial is a form of self preservation. Through these perspectives, Griffen makes the point to participate in denial, is to deny the self. (remove the word "that". It's a filler word and clogs the flow of the paragraph.) Hope this helps.

Susan Griffin's 'Our Secret' discusses many different themes of life. One such theme is that of denial. This is found throughout many references in her essay. (Then give examples of where it is found in the essay.)
Griffin addresses the complexities of denial from several different perspectives. One example of this is how she draws a connection between the denial of self and the denial of responsibility. (How does she do this?) This is seen with her different views of society and authority.
Another example of this is how denial is used as a form of self preservation.
Through all of these perspectives Griffin makes the point that to participate in denial is to deny one's self. (This is a good conclusion sentence.)

Working on it right now.

I know what you are saying. Your sentences need to work harder and carry more weight. Some of them are filler with no impact, so hold on.

Stay away from the word 'many', it is a lazy man's word. The phrase "many different" is a typical phrase that undermines originality.

I want you to read the paragrah's sentences in backward order. It will help you pinpoint the paragraph's weaknesses.

Use of 'denial' : 5 times?
