Clinton isn't a liberal (in the sense of liberal as a political ideology), so I'll go with Guilani.

Guiliani.
A Guiliani McCain ticket would be hard for the Democrats to beat.
And there are a TON of us out here who are moderate Republicans that view abortion in a reasonable non-absolutist light, and support gay rights and individual liberty (which is the cornerstone of traditional Republicanism).

Well, of those two, I like Giuliani, of course.
But among TRUE liberals (i.e., take Giuliani out of it, since he's more middle-of-the-road, or eclectic, or unique) ... among TRUE liberals, I would pick Barack Obama. He's short on experience, but he's way ahead of the kneejerk liberals in ability to think through things logically and objectively.

I agree with pip, don't try dump that right-wing pile of trash onto us. You all supported him until he decided to run for Prez. I think expectations of Clinton are too high for her to win.

~If I had to pick between those two, it would be Clinton. So far, I'm going with Edwards.~

Obama. Not crazy about his politics, but at least he's honest.
