It really gets on my nerves that you hate this man so much even though there's no evidence that he took steroids. So he put on 20 to 30 pounds of muscle in the couple of years before the 2001 season when he hit 73 home runs? So what? Bodybuilders do it all the time. So why are you so shocked that he got so big so quickly? There are many great supplements and strength training techniques that will help you put on a ton of muscle very fast. Pick up a copy of Muscle & Fitness mag and you'll see what I'm talking about. The science of exercise physiology is very advanced. So haters...get your facts straight before you judge. Maybe you're just jealous that he's in the top 5 greatest players of all time?

Don't trip on the misinformed, uneducated, unintelligent and the troublemaking people out there. It's just because one reporter spread the word that Barry is mean cause he did not grant him an interview by brushing him off. The above mentioned retards took pity upon that reporter and were brainwashed into believing Barry is evil.

They are jealous because they do not have his talent and extensive baseball background in their local teams. Also, they do not know what steroids will do to hinder performance. It just makes the body heal faster from injury and wastes away your eyesight and braincells to make you violent. If you take steroids, it would never enhance your batting skills. Just get you closer to "blind as a bat".

Let them call Barry names. He does not care and will be in the record books soon once more, has been paid 7 figures yearly unlike the jealous and has a mansion in Beverly Hills unlike some of the people making fun of him and the Giants. They probably live in garbage cans.....

You are wrong, there IS evidence he took steroids - he admitted as much a few years ago.

From wikipedia:

In the new millennium, major league baseball was shrouded in controversy over steroids. During an investigation of BALCO Laboratories, Bonds' grand jury testimony was illegally leaked and obtained by the media. In the testimony he allegedly admitted he may have unknowingly been given "the clear" and "the cream", when he was told the substances were flaxseed oil. This ignited much media speculation on Bonds in relation to the BALCO investigation.

I'm sorry, if you are a professional athlete ignorance does not fly with me in regards to not knowing what you are putting in your body.

Statistically, after 16 years in the league, his homerun output went up 73% during the 2001 season, the same time he was involved with BALCO. This isn't a 25 year old player coming into his own. Doesn't add up.

Why you are such a Bonds apologist? Its obvious your question is rhetorical by the antagonistic tone you take.

You need to get your facts straight before calling us "haters":

1) He didn't just put on mass. His skull plates are bigger, and his feet have grown 3 sizes since the late '90s. That does not come from supplements.

2) He admitted to a grand jury that he used the cream and the clear, although he claims he didn't know at the time what they were. One is a steroid, the other a masking agent.

3) He's a complete *** towards the media, and thinks he's above the rules in his own clubhouse.

4) He's a serial adulterer. (nothing to do with steroids, but it speaks to character)

I'd rather be called a "hater" than be willfully blind like you are.

First off, take it easy. You're gonna give yourself a coronary.
Secondly, pick up a book (Game of Shadows, maybe?) and try reading it. Its full of interesting stuff most people would call proof. Or do you think they made it all up?
Nobody (at least nobody who knows anything about baseball) would argue that pre-steroids, Bonds would be, and should be, considered in any talk of the top 5 greatest players ever. It doesn't make us haters (and as it seems you're implying, racists) because we know how to read a book without pop-ups and shiny pictures, and can make our own minds up.
Get a grip!

First off, Barry himself has admitted to rubbing "cream" on himself, only he says he didn't know what was in it. Go back and look at him when he was with the Pirates. As for your using body builders to make your point, how do you think they got that big? Drugs, supplements and lifting. The stuff they take is illegal for baseball players to take. Steroids are/were rampant in baseball and Bonds is guilty, not innocent.

When you look at Barry picture before he started taking steroids, notice the size of his head. Lifting weights does not make your head grow. He and ALL cheaters should be kicked out of Baseball. It's one of the reasons I don't follow that game. They have a commish. that doesn't care.

I haven't heard a big outcry of people calling for Bonds to go to jail, even though it might turn out that he broke the law. However, the jury of public opinion does not have the same standards as the judicial system. People vote with their dollars and time based on what they know. It's a free country, right?

He admitted using steroids ("the cream" and "the clear"); he claims he didn't know what they were. Many people do not find his claim credible. Have you read Game of Shadows? The evidence against him seems to be pretty strong.
