American idioms is the meaning of the phrase.It is an example of how the phrase would be used.An explaination(and/or discussion)of where or how the phrase originated.These American idioms will be discussed in the class and used in everyday conversational phrases.Students are encouraged to make up their own conversations using the american idioms.It is a group of words established by usage and having a meaning not understood from the word or words themselves in a certain type of expression common to a language or people.....thanks!
